A good question, and unfortunately I'm not too sure here. Assuming you're talking about fast forward movement speed (not high wind speed), sources appear to be mixed on this. Generally, fast movement speed can bring a TC into unfavorable conditions faster, but based on what I can gather, no EPac storm only in the tropics has weakened solely because of fast speed, it's usually cuz of a combination of other things too (i.e. wind shear, land interaction, etc.)
