Nope. It’s not an error. A monsoon depression is essentially a low-pressure system that forms within a monsoon trough, characterised by a broad, cyclonic circulation and heavy rainfall. They are typically weaker than tropical cyclones, with weaker convection near the centre and stronger winds on the periphery (away from the centre).

It's not an error, you don't see monsoon depressions too often or at least I don't but I also don't glue myself to the WPac now a days (it just happened with time for some reason)

Like @ChilledAntoine and @GloriouslyBlonde have said, this isn’t a mistake. As of now, the JTWC is classifying the system as a monsoon depression. MDs usually form in the WPac and the NIO, and some of those later consolidate and transition into tropical cyclones. An example of a monsoon depression would be Invest 94B which was active in the NIO on May 29th earlier this year.
