Guess where I'm going~

It is not an island in the Caribbean, nor is it a particularly large country in South America.
I'm trying to decide whether that's closer or not...
Turns out it is a bit closer.
@CycloneTracker15 closer, but not quite
Fixed. That'll cost you 250 bucks (kidding~)
I...am at a complete loss of words. I feel like this will cause controversy, bro. I don't understand what you're gaining from posting this stuff, but some people are finding these constant posts quite random and borderline nonsensical.
Except that Maria was very real and Hoama was a fictional storm.
@LazarBeam123 Both are about as far away from this place as can be 💀
Why did it delete everything except the title >:/
(I should also mention that I'll be gone for a week starting on Friday and I won't be able to come online during that time)

CW cameo??!!
This is a message from the Teelmondo Tropospheric Surveillance Center (TTSC):
"In 2024, Hurricane Hoama made landfall in Malrom Island as a violent Category 5 hurricane, becoming the strongest hurricane in the nation's history. Damage was widespread and fatalities occurred. In our final summary of the 2024-25 Roambatoane hurricane season, we have confirmed with the government of Malrom Island that Hoama wrought a total of approximately $44.6 billion (2024 USD) in damages and claimed 100 lives in the country."
As an organization set on distributing accurate information, the TTSC would like to apologize, as it has now become painfully clear that this information that was given to and then published by the TTSC was intentionally falsified for more than a year by the Malromian government in an attempt to cover up the true extent of the devastation. Now, after documents outlining the scandal have leaked, we have revisited our numbers and concluded with heavy hearts that the numbers were significantly higher than what we were shown.
Therefore, our official estimates have been revised, but there now exists significant uncertainty in both the death toll and, to a lesser extent, the monetary losses.
The death toll has been changed to the official total of 857, though there exists evidence to suggest that the actual death toll may have been as high as 2,589+
The monetary losses have been upped to $76 billion (2024 USD), though it's quite possible that this could still be an underestimation.
Unfortunately, I am now more confused than I was before seeing this.
I respectfully decline.
Oh... now Nahodi is on Youtube 💀
@Classicer Productions Siiiiiigh...
Look, I don't exactly wanna sound too irritable (it's hard since I'm so unbelievably exhausted), but here goes...
HHW isn't supposed to discriminate against non-tropical cyclone content. That's why this discussion category is called Weather discussion and not just tropical cyclone discussion.
Sorry again if I sound grouchy. I'm just...burnt out.
Alrightie...
The Tornado outbreak of March 13–16, 2025
You know, the biggest March tornado outbreak in history? Tylertown EF4? Diaz, Arkansas EF4? Fifty-Six, Arkansas EF4?
Yeah, that outbreak. Apparently, it was the costliest outbreak on record when unadjusted for inflation.
Iirc, this is the second-deadliest seismic event of the 20th century, only behind the 2004 Boxing Day Earthquake/Tsunami (though tbf, most of the fatalities from the Boxing Day quake came from the tsunami, so the 2010 Haiti earthquake is the deadliest earthquake of the 20th century)
Today, January 12, 2026, marks the 16th anniversary of the devastating 2010 Haiti earthquake, a M7.0 quake that caused 100,000+ fatalities, wrecked much of Port-au-Prince, and inflicted a heavy blow to the already-suffering economy. Even today, people are still recovering from this horrific natural disaster.
*Ahem*
