As an organization set on distributing accurate information, the TTSC would like to apologize, as it has now become painfully clear that this information that was given to and then published by the TTSC was intentionally falsified for more than a year by the Malromian government in an attempt to cover up the true extent of the devastation. Now, after documents outlining the scandal have leaked, we have revisited our numbers and concluded with heavy hearts that the numbers were significantly higher than what we were shown.

Therefore, our official estimates have been revised, but there now exists significant uncertainty in both the death toll and, to a lesser extent, the monetary losses.

• The death toll has been changed to the official total of 857, though there exists evidence to suggest that the actual death toll may have been as high as 2,589+

• The monetary losses have been upped to $76 billion (2024 USD), though it's quite possible that this could still be an underestimation.
