The 2019-20 Southern Hemisphere Cyclone Season is an ongoing event of tropical activity. In December, Cyclone Ambali become the strongest tropical cyclone in the southern hemisphere since Cyclone Marcus in March 2018. So far, the season has been fairly active, but most of the storms have been weak or short-lived.
