The 2024 Pacific hurricane season was significantly less active than the previous season, bearing a near average amount of tropical cyclones. The season was one of the costliest seasons on record, mostly due to Tropical Storm Aletta.

The following names will be used for named storms that form in the northeastern Pacific Ocean during 2024. Retired names, if any, will be announced by the World Meteorological Organization during the joint 45th Sessions of the RA IV Hurricane Committee in the spring of 2025. The names not retired from this list will be used again in the 2030 season. This is the same list used in the 2018 season.

For storms that form in the Central Pacific Hurricane Center's area of responsibility, encompassing the area between 140 degrees west and the International Date Line, all names are used in a series of four rotating lists. However, only one name was used.

On April 2, 2025, at the 38th session of the RA IV hurricane committee, the name Aletta was retired due to the damage and deaths it caused in Mexico, and will not be used for another Pacific hurricane. It was replaced with Ava for the 2030 season.
