Hurricane Harry was a devasting and deadly Category 5 hurricane which caused $15.450 billion in damage and 68 fatalities. Eighth named storm, third hurricane, first major hurricane and the strongest storm of the 2020-21 Baltic hurricane season, Harry formed from a vigorous tropical wave, first spotted by the BSWS on December 18.

Retirement[]
Due to severe damage and loss of life, particularly in the Island of Gotland and eastern Sweden, the name Harry was officially retired by the BSWS on April 10, 2021, thus becoming the first retired name of the Baltic tropical cyclone ever. It will be replaced with Henry for the 2024-25 Baltic hurricane season.
