Hypercane Rayden, also known as, The King Storm, or The Great Western Hemisphere Cyclone of 2075 was an extremely powerful, deadly, and enormous hypercane that took the record for largest Tropical Cyclone ever, being over 5 times larger than Typhoon Tip. It was the 20th Major hurricane (Cat. 3+) of the hyperactive 2075 Atlantic Hurricane season, which coincided with the strongest La Niña ever recorded, the highest sea temp was a scalding 136°F (57.77°C), which occurred during the Hypercane! The storm caused damage beyond any seen or recorded from any other disaster known. It was also the Deadliest and Costliest Natural Disaster ever, resulting in the economic collapse of the United States and the Bahamas, and total demise of all civilization. By the time the storm dissipated the western hemisphere would be altered beyond all recognition!
Meteorological Synopsis[]
Origins, Organization and Intensification[]
On June 29, 2075 The National Hurricane Center began tracking a rotating cluster of thunderstorms over the eastern Savanna, the rains helped bring a long lived drought to an end. The Tropical Disturbance was rotating much to well for a system over a semi-arid environment. The next morning, the system, undergoing a brown ocean effect, intensified into Tropical Depression 25 with an air pressure reading of 1005 mb (29.68 inHg). With a due west track, the storm steadily brought showers that replenished the crops in the region. The system maintained its intensity at Tropical Depression during its trek over Africa. By 8:00 AM UTC the next morning, the system crossed into the Atlantic ocean instantly intensifying into a Tropical Storm with a Pressure of 1000 Mb and a wind speed of 39 mph, and with the letter ‘P’ being used the, Tropical Storm was named "Rayden".
On July 5, 2075, at 12:00 UTC, Rayden underwent rapid deepening, ending up as a high end Category 2 storm with 105 mph winds and a 977 mb pressure. And then at 20:00UTC, the storm began rapidly growing and intensifying (A 105 mb pressure drop in 12 hours) into an 872 mb Cat 5! The next morning, the NHC predicted that the storm would eventually weaken once it got close to a mid-level high situated over northern South America. However, the high pressure system shifted south and dissipated, leaving the >100°F waters open to the cyclone. By 16:43 UTC, the central pressure began freefalling surpassing the 870 mb record causing the storm to become a Category 6 by 18:00UTC with a 805 mb pressure.

Explosive Expansion, First Warnings, and First Impacts[]
By 21:00 UTC, the lack of wind shear, and the extreme Sea Surface Temps began to Explosively enlarge the Cyclone. On July 7, 2075, at 03:00 UTC, the National Hurricane Center issued its first ever Inevitable Tropical Cyclone Catastrophe level warning for the northern Lesser Antilles islands, US virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The Warning stated, in an unfiltered, point blank fashion:
The Impact of the Leeward Islands, US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico is INEVITABLE! Riding out the storm will Result in ABSOLUTE CERTAIN DEATH! Storm Surge of 500 feet will result in total to almost total eradication of the islands, Debris will be flying so fast that being struck will be comparable to being executed by firing squad! IT IS DEMANDED THAT ALL INHABITANTS EVACUATE! May God have Mercy on your souls!
By the Early Morning, the outer edge of the now 1,200 mile wide Cyclone(Now a Cat 8), begins to crossover the Leewards, which have been completely deserted, the warnings of imminent death were shifted west. At 12:00 UTC, the storm becomes a Category 9, with 759 mph winds, a 623 kPa central pressure, and 1 Km swells, some of which are already destroying the northern Leewards. Warnings begin getting broadcast for impacts at Haiti, The Dominican Republic, Cuba, The Bahamas, and Florida.

The next day, the cyclone Becomes a Category 10, however, as the storm closed in on the Leewards, the Volcanos of Mount Pelée, and Soufrière Hills erupted, the resulting ash plumes interfered with the structure of Hurricane Rayden, and also choked the eye of moisture, resulting in a sudden weakening down to Category 6. By Now the storm has a diameter of 2,750 miles, with the main circulation expanding to 1,000 miles, and expanding by 500 miles per hour! By 15:30UTC, the eye traverses back into favorable conditions, and explosively re-intensifies, the pressure in the eye is 555mb(16.3892055 inHg) and falling! By 18:32UTC, the eye passed over the northern edge of Puerto Rico, at the same time however, cities and towns as far away as Orlando were beginning to be affected by the outer edge of the storm. Meanwhile, the islands of the Bahamas, Cuba, Hispaniola, and the Lesser Antilles began to erode away, some already entirely under water!
Initial Peak intensity[]
On July 9, the storm's eye crossed over eastern Hispanola at Category 10 strength, as the eye progressed however, it achieved 736 mph(1,184.4 km/h) winds and an air pressure of 316 mbs (9.33 inHg) becoming a Hypercane. As Rayden progressed, the storm weakened down to Cat 9 strength as it underwent an eyewall replacement cycle. At the same time the Bermuda High, stalled over the central Atlantic, shifted the storm to the north west directly towards, Florida.
July 10, on a north-westerly direction, Hurricane Rayden continues to inundate the region with heavy winds and rain, the lack of wind shear and or frontal boundaries, allow for uninhibited explosive intensification, as a Category 10, the storm continues northwest. The National Weather Service headquarters, taking over tracking of the storm, published the following warning statement for the coasts of eastern Louisiana to SW New Jersey:
The hurricane strength winds speeds(73+ mph/(117.48+ km/h)/63+ knots) extending 7,275 miles (11,707.9776 km) from the center of the storm are expected to affect states as far in as North Dakota, Storm Surges of 250 feet(76.2 meters) is expected, and wind driven waves of 2,640 feet (804.67 meters) tall are also expected! Mud/Rock/Landslides will occur in the mountains! Any nuclear power stations along the coast are at risk of being blown apart, and having their contents exposed to the air and water. Dam failures may occur. The following Major cities will remain UNINHABITABLE for months to years! Or be so Permanently:
New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Charleston SC, Norfolk, Savanna GA, All of Florida, Mobile AL, Biloxi MS, New Orleans LA
Plan for a long term relocation as you may not return home!
Florida Landfall, Peak Intensity, and Stall[]
July 11, Hurricane Rayden's Cat 6+ winds start affecting Miami, and the Keys, while the eye still remains over the Bahamas. At 430 UTC, Winds reach 695 mph(1,118 km/h) and an air pressure of 320 mbs (9.33 inHg) was recorded. At 600 UTC the storm restrengthened into Hypercane status with 745 mph (1,198.96 km.h) and a central pressure of 300 mbs (8.85 inHg). Around 1057 UTC the winds began to rise fast, from 800 mph (1287.4752 km/h) to 900,000 mph (1,448,409.6 km/h) in one hour meanwhile the barometric pressure fell from 277 mbs (8.12 inHg) to 125 mbs (3.69 inHg). Continuing to intensify, Hypercane Rayden made land fall at 1144 UTC, at the same time, the forward motion began to slow to 5 mph (8 km/h). This slowing allowed the storm to Intensify to for 5 days as the storm passed over the Florida region into the gulf, the storm's peak status was beyond any ever classified in fiction and reality. On July 17, the storm was at its west most peak, and its max strength of -500 mb (-14.76505 inHg), which according to all scientific evidence should not have been possible, and winds of 75,000,000 mph (120,700,800 km/h). Hypercane Rayden then began to move back east, maintaining its strength for 18 hours, before finally beginning to weaken as it passes over FL its second and final time.
Implosive Weakening, Sudden Shrinkage, and Extratropical transition[]
EX Rayden headed northeast
Extratropical Storm Rayden over the British Isles
As the giant storm began to speed northeast at 25 mph(40.23 km/h), the air pressure rose extremely rapidly! In 1 hour, the storm's pressure rose from 100 mbs (2.95301 inHg) to 775 mbs (22.8858275 inHg), causing a 2,640 foot(804.672 meter) or 1/2 mile tall tide surge to expand outward. On July 20, the storm weakened to a category 5 storm, with an air pressure of 910 mb (26.872391 inHg). The storm's size shrank down to 725 miles (1,166.7744 km) and continued to shrink. July 23, wind shear began to tear the storm clouds off the lower level clouds causing the storm to be down graded to a Category 1, at the same time the storm was moving ENEbNE at a speed of 50 mph (80.4672 km/h). Overnight the convection became irregular, causing the storm to take an comma shape, at the same time the cyclone downgraded to a Tropical Storm with an air pressure of 999 mb (29.5005699 inHg) as cold water and dry air began to suffocate the core of the Low pressure system. On the early morning of July 24, the storm was downgraded to Extratropical as the low rocketed eastward at 80 mph (128.74752 km/h) and with an air pressure of 1005 mbs (29.6777505 inHg). The storm's convection dissipated, leaving a low level spiral of clouds crossing over the British Isles as an extratropical depression.
Final Demise[]
After crossing the British Isles, the circular spiral of cumulus curved southeastward towards mainland Europe, making landfall over the border of Belgium and France at midnight on July 25. During the early morning hours the low pressure system curved back west and around 0600Z, the low's rotation began to dissipate, and at 1200Z the low dissipated (Erased from weather charts) with the clouds fizzling away shortly there after over the French/Spanish border. The final measurement was 25 mph(40.23 km/h) with a barometric pressure of 1015 mbs (29.9730515 inHg).

Preparations[]
West Indies Nations[]
As the storm began to rapidly intensify past the 250 mph mark, a mandatory desertation order was placed for all the West Indies nations, including the Bahamas. The Lesser Antilles completed their evacs the moment the storm's size rapidly exploded. The larger Island nations with a larger impovrished population had more difficulty moving people away. All the islands were abandoned on July 7, right as the storm achieved Cat. 6 strength.
United States[]
The United States placed a mandatory Evacuation for everyone in the states of: Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North/South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, Arkansas, Maryland, Delaware, and all New England states. The Evacuations were Extremely slow since 2 billion people were all leaving at the same time, the disorganised evacuation caused many people to still be in harms way when Hypercane Rayden arrived.
Impacts And Aftermath[]
The storm's intense winds caused the Indies to be completely washed out by the .5 mile tall waves, and surges! The United States lost more than 1.75 million square miles of land! Losing the states of: FL, GA, AL, MS, LA, TX, NC, SC, TN, KY, VA, MD, DE, AR, RI, NY, CT, MA, NH, VT and ME! The panhandle, and western regions of Texas were the only remnants of any of the aforementioned states remaining after the storm. The Global economy, and civil order dissappeared with the unrecoverable debt of $55 Decillion that the US racked up due to the storm, all the Gov't officials were killed when a 1,725 ft rogue wave made its way into DC via Chesapeake Bay, the Entirety of DC was swept away with Gov't bunkers being buried and flooded! The world descended into chaos. A 3rd World War was started by nations beginning takovers of neighboring nations. In total $500 Quadrillion Billion Billion in damages was racked up by Rayden's existence. 75% of that being after the storm passed.
Fate of Name[]
Because the UN was dissolved, Organizations like, the IMF, WHO eta. were also disbanded, so the naming of Cyclones was lost too. So until a naming convention is re-initiated, names like Rayden, Arlene, Gordon eta. will not be usable in a scientific standpoint. The name Rayden however was still used for any storms that surpassed the 0 mb(0 inHg) mark. Which happened 15 time since then and counting.
