The Hypothetical Hurricanes Wiki administration consists of trustworthy and experienced users of the wiki who receive a special set of tools to help patrol, moderate, and grow the wiki. Despite this, administration members (also called the staff) are equal to everyone else on the wiki, and are not immune to rule violations, for example. Generally, newer and less experienced users seek advice from this group of users.

Bureaucrats[]

Bureaucrats 
are users entrusted with the ability to grant and revoke all local user groups except other bureaucrats. All bureaucrats are usually administrators, meaning they share the same abilities. The difference is that bureaucrats are also IP-block exempt and can unblock themselves. Generally, they are in charge of leading the administration.

Administrators 
are users entrusted with keeping the community running smoothly. They have additional tools to help them with this task, such as managing pages, blocking/unblocking users, managing the site's analytics, editing blog posts, and importing/exporting pages from the wiki. Administrators on this wiki may also grant and revoke the autopatrolled user, code editor, chat moderator, junior administrator, and rollback groups.
Junior Administrators[]
Junior administrators 
are very similar to administrators, except that they cannot manage user rights or block other users. They can manage files and interactive maps while also patrolling users' edits and editing the site's interface, being granted additional tools to help them with this task.
Rollbackers[]

Rollbackers (or rollbacks)

have the rollback user right, which helps them fight spam and vandalism on pages with the use of the rollback button, which quickly undoes a user's edit(s) on a page.
Content Moderators[]
Content Moderators' 
primary abilities are more content-related. These include the rollback tool, deleting and undeleting pages, and protecting and unprotecting pages. This user right is rarely given out on its own, mostly due to its similarities with the junior administrator group. However, sometimes a user may be granted this group instead of the junior administrator group to focus more on the wiki.
