The general moderator position on this wiki is broken into three subgroups. More detail about them is directly below this.
Chat moderators are wiki users that have the ability to moderate the community's chat as well as the Discussions area. They have kick/ban powers on the server and can do a variety of tasks such as pinning or deleting messages, changing nicknames, and access to the administration channel. On the wiki, they have the Discussions Moderator user rights group, which allows them to edit/delete comments, delete blog comments, and moderate the Discussions feature.
Thread moderators (also known as discussions moderator) are wiki users that have the ability to moderate the community's Discussions area, message walls, and page comments. Unlike the full chat moderator group, this group does not have any extended rights on the Discord server. However, on the wiki they can edit/delete comments, delete blog comments, and moderate the Discussions feature.
Discord moderators are wiki users that have the ability to moderate the community's Discord server only. Unlike the above group, this group does not have any rights on the wiki. However, on the server, they can do a variety of tasks such as kicking/banning users, pinning or deleting messages, changing nicknames, and access to the administration channel.
Becoming a moderator[]
On this wiki, there is a page for requesting the moderator group, which is located here. Please check that page for more details on what the requirements are and what is expected for them to pass. Users who want to become Discord moderators can instead request these rights through the #feedback-and-suggestions channel on the chat. The requirements will be stated in the server, and these requests have the same thresholds for passing as those above.
