Hello, everyone. This is HurricaneLucas4064 or just simply Lucas and I am seeking the application of a rollback. Why, you might ask? Well, I've prepared a few reasons for my promotion. Note: I support whatever opinion you say about me in the discussion box.
- My first reason is that I believe that I am a very effective and responsible chat moderator. I say this because I enforce the server rules whenever a user is not abiding by them, such as when one is posting repetitive or multiple images in the main chat room. I also believe I make sure no tension or conflict occurs between two or more users by enforcing the rules and guidelines. Essentially, what I am saying is that I think I do a good job at being a moderator.
- My second reason is that I participate in administrative topics. When there is a vote occurring in the administration chat room, I always submit my honest vote and usually explain why I chose to vote in the way I did. I will continue to effectively participate in various administrative topics, regardless if I am promoted or not.
- My third reason is that I still edit consistently on the wiki. Sure, my level of editing is not as high as it was earlier in the year, particularly the summer, but surely you can understand that I am in school five days a week and I am rather busy on a daily basis with homework, piano, various family topics. Furthermore, I am still going to edit on the wiki, most likely for years to come and currently I have no intentions of losing interest or outright stopping.
- My fourth reason is that I am on chat fairly consistently. I do believe I should be on chat more often, but I am usually online between 7 and 10 PM on weekdays and more often during the weekends. I make sure I get on to the chat so that I can enforce the rules and use my duty as a chat moderator wisely.
- My last reason is that I think I would be a very responsible and not "power-hungry" rollback. I will use this privilege responsibly and will only use it when I absolutely need to and there is a major problem occurring, such as if someone invades someone else's pages with "blah". I also will continues my moderating in the chat, and will increase the amount of time I am on chat, for sure. Furthermore, I will also be a mature rollback, using the button with an adult mindset and not using it freely.

Oppose — While you've been chat moderator for a few months now, I don't think you are ready to be rollback. I haven't personally seen much moderation from you in chat; you're somewhat active in administrative affairs but not so much when it comes to moderating the chat and warning users. That makes me think you may not do much as rollback, especially when there is little vandalism or bad faith edits to revert nowadays. As this puts you a step closer to JA, this request looks premature. I strongly recommend you work on moderating the chat more, or at least on being more active inside the administration, and then reapply. Best of luck!
Neutral, leaning oppose — Hi Lucas! Since your promotion to moderator, as SM said, I haven't seen much enforcement. Now, I haven't been online when you have been and that could be a possible reason of me seeing a lack of moderation. Plus, using context clues from chat and my own RfJA, it seems you don't know what a rollback does or its powers. It's a hefty role that is not utilized often but I encourage you research it, if you haven't already. Similarly to me, I think this is too soon and I'd wait a few weeks. Edit: After reviewing Hype and Sass' comments, I am changing my vote. You are a wonderful editor and great friend to many users, but super nice isn't a good thing at all times for a moderator. - Oppose — Hey Lucas! While I like the fact you yook interest in applying for rollback, I'm sorry to say that you are not ready. I have not seen enough moderation from you as a moderator, and only moderators that actively uses their powers enough and effectively are ready to go up a rank. Additionally, while you are pretty active in the administrative chat, you barely vote on decisions, and that makes me question your ability as a staff itself should you go up a rank. Neutral — - Lucas, let me start by saying you are a very active and upbeat contributor. You're extremely nice and have a great personality, however, I think you might be "too" nice. As others have pointed out, I don't see you on chat a whole lot and even when serious situations do arise, you don't handle them properly like you should - you just kind of let them go on. It would be my fear that if you earned rollback rights that if a vandal ever did re-appear on HHW, you would kind of let them do their own thing, and not take care of it. You have been trying hard to implement the administrations' critiques of your chat moderatorship, and to a degree, I think it's working, but you definitely still have some work to do. However, you do have promise, and I think that in a couple months' time, you'd definitely be ready to be a rollback. Although you are a very nice user and your contributions on the wiki look very good, I have not seen much enforcement of the rules out of you. - Neutral, leaning oppose — Lucas, sorry to say, you submitted your request a bit too early. I know you’re a very trustworthy and nice user and an active editor on HHW, but I think you’re not ready for Rollback just yet. Your moderation in the chat needs to increase in order for you to be promoted (I should increase my moderation too). Also, you’re new to the Rollback thing, and you don’t exactly know what it is without me explaining what it does. Maybe, after a couple or so months, you will be ready with being a Rollback. - Neutral, leaning oppose — Hey Lucas, as much as I want to support this request, I honestly think you might not be ready for rollback just yet. You're such a nice and friendly user to talk to in chat, but given the fact that you haven't really moderated the chat much during your three-month tenure here, I don't think it would be good to give you rollback rights just yet. However, I feel like you do not have enough experience yet, and as other users have pointed out, you don't use your chat moderator powers often. I don't have much to add.
