The Sebastian's Tropical Cyclone Center (STCC) is a meteorological organization and headquarters (HQ) headquartered in the Philippines. There are other places where it is established, with the locations being in the areas in the corresponding basin (Ex. STCC Atlantic in Miami, Florida). It was founded on December 1, 2018 but was fully established a month later, January 1, 2019 to monitor on systems in Sebastian's Version of hypothetical hurricanes.

The organization noted that agencies will be built in the corresponding places annually until all basin agencies are complete. The first agency issued to be built was STCC Atlantic in Miami, Florida last December 1, 2018, replacing the NHC. The next one was STCC East Pacific in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and then STCC Central Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii, sharing the same annual season, Pacific hurricane season. Then, STCC West Pacific was built in Manila, Philippines but was transferred to Tokyo, Japan due to the JMA (Japan Meteorological Agency) filing for bankruptcy on March 10, 2020. All were finished on January 1, 2020.

History[]

Pre-Establishment[]

On September 25, 2018, all official basin meteorological agencies gathered in the WMO to create a poll if a new agency and organization should establish a new organization with new laws because they were tired of their carrer. So, on November 18, 2018, all agreed on creating a poll and posted it on the same day worldwide and a majority of it said "Yes" which was 69%.

Establishment[]

2018 and 2019[]

On December 1, 2018, Sebastian's Tropical Cyclone Center was established. A month later, it later released its first agency, STCC Atlantic, to replace the National Hurricane Center. The first storm the agency track was Hurricane Andrea on January 1, 2019 at 00:00 UTC, the first storm of the 2019 Hypothetical Atlantic Hurricane Season. When more storms formed, STCC Atlantic tried their best to issue advisories, even though the agency didn't want to but eventually, they loved issuing advisories on systems on June 2019. They then released a database in September or October 2019 using Google Sheets and at the end of the season, they used records of the season, the basin, and worldwide and used their own naming list.

2020[]

On January 1, 2020, Sebastian's Tropical Cyclone Center used a building for STCC East Pacific, the second agency and then STCC Central Pacific to replace the Central Pacific Hurricane Center. The fourth and final agency to be released was STCC West Pacific in Manila, Philippines but was transferred to Tokyo, Japan after the JMA had filed for bankruptcy on March 10, 2020. All the three agencies started to monitor their first storm, which was hard but as time went on, passionate. On March 10, 2020, they introduced the extended SSHWS, which ranges from Category 6-10, which was added in STCC Atlantic, East Pacific, and Central Pacific.

STCC Atlantic[]

Information[]

Sebastian's Tropical Cyclone Center Atlantic or STCC Atlantic to be short was established in Miami, Florida on January 1, 2019 after the NHC filed for bankruptcy. The first storm the agency forecasted and monitored was Hurricane Andrea of the 2019 Hypothetical Atlantic Hurricane Season. The role of STCC Atlantic is to forecast and monitor systems in the Atlantic and issue warnings for the coastlines surrounding the Atlantic. The current season is the 2020 Hypothetical Atlantic Hurricane Season.

Scale[]

The scale used by STCC Atlantic was the modified regular Saffir-Simpson scale from January 1, 2019 till March 10, 2020. On March 10, 2020 until onwards, they used the extended SSHWS, as an order issued by STCC.

Information[]

Sebastian's Tropical Cyclone Center West Pacific or STCC West Pacific was established in Manila, Philippines but was transferred to Tokyo, Japan, after the JMA filed for bankruptcy. The first storm the agency forecasted and monitored was Severe Tropical Storm Damrey (Ambo) of the 2020 Hypothetical Pacific Typhoon Season. The role of STCC West Pacific is to monitor the West Pacific and issue warnings for the coastlines surrounding the West Pacific. The current season is the 2020 Hypothetical Pacific Typhoon Season and shares the same seaon with the JTWC and PAGASA, both unofficial agencies.
